This cake is ideal to celebrate a silver wedding anniversary - 25 years of marriage. The cake and board are covered in sugar paste. A message can be chosen for the top of the cake which is piped in royal icing.
This can also be produced for a pearl, ruby, gold or diamond wedding anniversary. If this cake is to celebrate a pearl wedding anniversary - 30 years of marriage - the sugar paste on the cake will be pale blue and the letters, flower centres and ribbon will be an ivory/ pearl colour.
